How to Close and Re-open a Listing

Keeping your listings up to date helps buyers find their perfect puppy faster, and saves you from getting messages about pets that have already found their forever home.

If your puppy is sold or your service is no longer available, it’s quick and easy to close your listing — and if you ever need to bring it back online again, we’ve got you covered too!


How to Close a Listing

  1. Log into your account at www.lancasterpuppies.com.
  2. Click on the user icon in the upper right corner of the page and select My Ads from the drop-down menu.

  3. Find the listing you want to close in the list and click the Close button.

  4. In the pop-up, select the relevant reason for your closure and then click Confirm.

  5. The listing will move to the Inactive tab, and will no longer be shown live on the website.

How to Re-open a Listing

Listings become inactive and are closed automatically after 60 days or can be closed manually (as above).

To re-open a listing, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to My Ads and open the Inactive tab.
  2. Find the listing and click Re-open.

  3. Click Confirm to restore it.

  4. Your listing will be moved back to the Active tab and sent to our team for review again, just like a new listing. Once approved, it will go live.
