Follow these simple steps to get your listing live and connect with the perfect buyers!
Creating a "For Stud" Listing
To create a listing for stud, please follow the instructions below:
- Log in to your Lancaster Puppies account.
- Click on the + New Ad button on the top right corner of the homepage.
- If this is your first listing, you will be asked to verify your number via text message. You are required to enter a valid US phone number – this helps us verify users and keep Lancaster Puppies safe.
- You will only need to verify your phone number once. Next, select the type of listing you want to create:
- For Stud – Listings for stud services.
- For Sale – Pets advertised for sale by individuals and breeders.

- Check the For Stud option and then click Next Step.
- The first step is to upload media. These images will appear in the main listing information section.
Note: The workflow may still refer to “litter,” but you can ignore this wording when creating a Stud Listing.
A single video or image cannot exceed 100 MB. A maximum of 40 photos and 5 videos can be uploaded per advert.
- Select the Breed of the Stud from the list (or use the search bar). Click Next Step once selected.
- Add the Date of Birth of your stud.
Note: Studs must be at least 1 year old to be used for stud service. Underage studs will not be approved.
- Choose any additional details for the stud such as vaccinations, health testing, and registration. Check the appropriate options and click Next Step.
- Add general information: update the listing title, add a description, set the price, and choose contact preferences. Then click Summary.
- On the Summarypage, review your listing details. You can update:
- Media Gallery – add more images or videos.
- Litter (General) Info – update breed, DOB, title, or price.
- Documentation & Health – edit health information.
- Ad Details – check ad type and contact details.
- When you’re happy with everything, click Submit to complete the process.
Things to Note About the Ad Approval Process
If your listing meets our Advertising Policy and no issues are found, it’s usually published within minutes. If further review is required, it may take longer.
To ensure adverts are genuine and contain all required information, our Trust & Safety team manually reviews any listings flagged during approval. While under review, your advert will show as Pending, and we’ll contact you by email if any changes are needed before publishing.
