Follow these simple steps to get your listing live and connect with the perfect buyers!
Creating a "For Stud" Listing
To create a listing for stud, please follow the instructions below.
- Log in to your Lancaster Puppies account
- Click on the "+ New Ad" button on the top right corner of the homepage.
- If this is your first listing, you will be asked to verify your number via text message. You are required to fill in a valid US phone number for your listing - this is one of the ways we verify our users and keep Lancaster Puppies safe.
- You will only need to verify your phone number once, and then you will be able to continue to the next step where you will select the type of listing you want to create:
- For stud - Listings for stud services.
- For sale - Pets advertised for sale by individuals and breeders

Check the "For stud" option and then click "Next Step"
5. The first step is to upload media. Here you can choose images that will appear on the main listing information section.
You will see they are still referred to as a litter in this workflow, but you can ignore this wording when you are creating a Stud Listing, and know this is just for the Stud.
Please note that a single video or image cannot exceed 100 MB in size. Additionally, a maximum of 40 photos and 5 videos can be uploaded to your advert in total.
6. Then select the Breed of the Stud from the available list. You can use the search bar at the top to quickly find the correct breed. Click "Next Step" when you have made your selection.
7. Add the Date of Birth of your Stud.
Please note Studs must be at least 1 year old to be used for Stud Service. Underage studs will not be approved.
Click "Next Step" to continue.
8. Choose any additional details for the Stud such as vaccinations, health testing and registration details.
Check the appropriate options and then click "Next Step"
9. Add in any other general information. You can Update the title of the listing, add a description and set the price. You can also select how you would like to be contacted here. When you are ready, click "Summary" to move to the last step.
10. On the Summary page, you can check that all of the details for your listing are correct.
If you need to make changes, you can easily update:
Media Gallery – add more images or videos for the listing.
Litter (General) Info – update breed, date of birth, listing title, or price.
Documentation & Health – edit any options you’ve selected here.

When you’re happy with everything, click Submit to complete the process.
Things to Note About the Ad Approval Process
If your listing meets our Advertising Policy and no issues are found, it’s usually published within minutes of submission. If anything requires further review, it may take longer.
To ensure adverts are genuine and contain all required information, our Trust & Safety team manually reviews any listings that are flagged during the approval process.
While your advert is under review, its status will show as Pending, and we’ll contact you by email if any changes are needed before it can be published.
