Getting PawCover (Buyers)

How do I get a PawCover?

Here are the steps to reserve or purchase a pet with PawCover:

  1. Contact the seller
    You should always reach out to talk to the seller directly first. We recommend asking any questions you may have, confirming important details, and discussing pickup or delivery arrangements before proceeding.
  2. Request the seller’s PIN
    Once you’ve decided to move ahead, you can ask the seller for their unique PIN. Each eligible seller has a payment PIN linked to their account that must be entered to complete the purchase.
  3. Enter the PIN on the listing
    On the advert of the puppy you would like to purchase, click the Reserve button and enter the seller’s PIN to begin checkout.
  4. Complete secure checkout
    You’ll be taken to a secure checkout page to complete payment through Stripe.
  5. Track your purchase
    After payment, you’ll be able to track your purchase in your My Pets section. Your payment will be held securely by Lancaster Puppies until you confirm you have collected or received your pet. Once confirmed, the payment will be released to the seller.

Note: Requesting a PIN does not guarantee you will receive the pet. Sellers may have multiple interested buyers, and only one buyer can successfully complete payment for a specific pet.

Should I view the pet before making a payment?

Yes, whenever possible.

We strongly recommend meeting the pet in person (and the mother, for puppies) before proceeding with any payments. If you can’t meet in person, a video call with the seller can help provide extra reassurance.

How do I confirm the collection of my pet?

Only confirm the collection after you have physically received the pet.

  1. Log into your Lancaster Puppies account.
  2. Go to your My Pets section.
  3. Select the relevant pet and click Confirm pickup/collection.
