Enabling PawCover (Sellers)

How do I enable PawCover?

Eligible sellers will need to complete a simple payment setup and verification with our secure partner, Stripe.

Once enabled, PawCover apply across your account, and buyers can pay securely using your unique seller PIN.

How do buyers pay me?

Each eligible seller has a unique payment PIN linked to their account.

  1. Speak with the buyer first
    We recommend speaking with a buyer, and confirming all details with them before sharing your PIN.
  2. Share your PIN
    You can provide your PIN to any buyers you feel comfortable working with.
  3. The buyer enters the PIN on your listing
    They’ll click the Reserve button on your advert and enter your PIN to begin checkout.
  4. The buyer completes payment securely
    Payment is made through Stripe and recorded in our system.

When will I receive my payment?

Payments are released once the buyer confirms they have collected/received the pet.

  1. The buyer completes payment through Lancaster Puppies.
  2. The funds are held securely while pickup or delivery arrangements are made.
  3. After the buyer confirms collection in their My Pets section, the payment is released to you.

Once released, the transfer is sent to your bank. Payment should be instant (within 24 hours) or depending on your bank, it may take several business days for the funds to appear in your account.

Important: The buyer must confirm collection before payment can be released. If the buyer is unable to confirm pickup themselves, they can contact our team and we can assist in verifying the collection.

Should I accept payment from buyers I haven’t spoken to?

We strongly recommend speaking with buyers first before sharing your PIN. This gives you the chance to confirm details, answer questions, and make sure the home is suitable before proceeding.

Do I need to do anything after payment?

Once payment is completed, you simply need to proceed with the rehoming arrangements as agreed with the buyer.

After the pet has been collected, the buyer confirms pickup in their account, which allows the payment to be released to you.
