At Lancaster Puppies, the safety and well-being of our community, both human and canine, are our top priorities. While we work hard to create a trustworthy and transparent platform, we understand that there may be times when users need to report concerns about a seller.
We take all reports seriously and will review each case carefully to determine the appropriate next steps.
Reasons to Report a Seller
You may wish to report a seller for several reasons. These typically fall into two categories:
Scam or Suspicious behavior
You may report a seller if:
- You have received spam, inappropriate, or abusive messages from them.
- They are unwilling to allow you to view the puppy in person before a sale.
- You believe they have scammed you or committed fraud (e.g., taking payment without providing the puppy or misrepresenting the pet).
- They are posting misleading or duplicate listings.
Welfare Concerns
We are strongly committed to animal welfare. You should report a seller immediately if you suspect:
- Puppies are sick, injured, or appear neglected.
- The environment is unsafe, unsanitary, or overcrowded.
- The seller is not providing proper documentation (such as vaccination records).
- You witnessed or experienced treatment that raises concern for the animals’ well-being.
Whenever possible, we work with sellers to address and resolve issues. However, if a seller fails to meet our standards or is unwilling to improve, we will take appropriate action - including removal from the platform and referral to relevant authorities.
