PawCover on Lancaster Puppies
When you’re rehoming a pet, it’s essential to do it safely and securely. For peace of mind, we recommend using getting PawCover, that protects you against unexpected events and gives you confidence throughout the rehoming process.
What is the PawCover six-month health guarantee?
The PawCover six-month health guarantee is a promise from Lancaster Puppies that you will either receive your new pet in good health, or you’ll get your money back. This protection only applies to payments made through LancasterPuppies.
Coverage includes:
- Non-delivery: If you pay for your pet but never receive them (e.g., the seller backs out or it’s a scam), you’ll receive a full refund.
- Health issues: If your new pet becomes critically ill within 6 months, you may be eligible for a refund (PawCover Terms & Conditions apply).
- Pre-existing conditions: If a condition is discovered that the seller knew or should reasonably have known, and it clearly affects your pet’s quality of life, you may be covered.

Deposits and Cancellations
- If the buyer cancels: The deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance will be returned.
- If the seller cancels: The buyer receives a full refund, including deposit and fee.
Exceptions: If you have a safety or welfare concern, the seller asked you to cancel, or the seller has stopped responding, you may be entitled to your deposit back. Please contact us directly.
Transportation and Third-Party Services
Many buyers in the U.S. use transport companies to help collect their new pet. If you choose to use a transporter, please note:
- Lancaster Puppies is not responsible for the services, conduct, or safety of any third-party transport company.
- PawCover only protect the portion of money paid through our system. Any amount paid directly to a transporter (e.g., cash on delivery) is not covered.
- Any issues caused by or during transportation are outside the scope of the PawCover six-month health guarantee.
We recommend agreeing in writing with both your seller and transporter how the final balance and delivery arrangements will be handled before the journey begins.
Fees
- Sellers: There is no cost to enable PawCover.
- Buyers: A small fee applies when purchasing with PawCover. It’s a percentage of the total price with a minimum of $10, shown clearly before checkout.
